Fashion Show Mall

Don always had original ideas. Combined that with a natural eye for taking photographs he came up with an astonishing idea of a new business in the fashion world. It's so astonishing I can't even tell you about it. But here are a couple of photos he took as we explored the possibilities.

Film Maker

Don worked early on developing documentary films at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. Later her worked at KGO in the news room as a film editor where he worked with Vam Amburg and Jerry Jensen. He cut the national news story of the Patty Hearst kidnapping that went to network feed. He then moved to Los Angelesand worked at KTLA and various TV shows and movies until he landed at Entertainment Tonight on Day One. After four years and one heart attack he moved to Japan and developed documentary films.

The Two Survivors

In July 2009 I traveled back to Arcata to take care of Don’s storage locker. I also had dinner with Dave and LouAnna and we met at Moonstone Beach, north of Arcata. Amigo, Don’s dog, now lives with them and is now called, “The Dude.” I had this picture taken of the two of us. Pamela refers to the picture as to the two survivors.
